Ginger Lemonade


Ingredients:

2-3 lemons halved and seeds removed
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/4 cup sugar
1 Tbsp grated ginger
fresh mint leaves
6 – 8 cups water, or white aerated soft drink or soda water

Cooking Method:

Place the sugar and lemon juice in a saucepan until dissolved. Allow to cool. Place this sugar syrup in the blender with the whole lemons and freshly grated ginger and blend until frothy. Stir through the desired amount of water or aerated drink or soda and serve garnished with fresh mint leaves.
